Monitor Server Stats

The Registration Server Stats can be monitored at:

https://utdirect.utexas.edu/dputil/indiv_daily_totals.wb?s-name=NRNBS002&s-service=PROD

This lists the number of “events” that are occurring on the Registration web page.

It stands to reason that if students are unable to access registration as scheduled or intended, that they will repeat their actions, resulting in unexpectedly high levels of server activity.

Historically, we check the current  activity against the “same” day of the previous year.   April 14th of 2014 corresponds with April 15th of 2013.  As the organization of students is slightly different this year, this model might be slightly off base, but it can still be used as a estimate of general activity.
