I. Introduction and Background - PU

For my final project, I decided upon the 6-bar window mechanism. Through this project, I aimed at applying the critical thinking and mechanism design principles I learned throughout the semester in ME 350R/380R. The mechanism is comprised of two sliders that allow for the complex motion needed for the operation of a window. It also has two grounds and one DOF. Without these characteristics, the window could not be properly operated.
