V. Electronics and Software - PU

Provided the materials and time I had to work with, I did my best to convert my original mechanism to motorized. I was able to change a few of the fixtures to get motorized control out of it. This is certainly something I would like to further refine at some point. I coupled a motor with the shaft and one of the arms, allowing for motorized control. My motor was in the form of an electric drill. An advantage of this is that I was able to get far more power than I would with a small motor, however, it was very large and cumbersome. 

I also used Solidworks to help design my mechanism. This allowed me to have much more precise control of the geometry.
