There are two ways to add search condition lines in the query designer: Field Group and Relationships Diagram.

  2. Select a field group
  3. Click + to add a search line from a field group
  4. Select a Field Name to search

  6. Enter the term you are looking for in the Field Value
  7. Continue adding lines as necessary, use and/or to expand or limit your results
    1. AND must meet all conditions (painting AND Art of the United States)
    2. OR allows multiple values in results (painting OR sculpture)
  8. Use Show Record Count to preview your results (if you get 0 records or way too many, check your work and revise)
  9. Click OK to submit your search, once you return to the Super Search Window you will see "ad hoc query" with a time stamp. Click the search glass to open the list of records you have searched for.
