Log on to https://utbackup.utexas.edu/ and click Organizations in the left sidebar.
Click on the name of the organization that you want to be the parent of the new non-LDAP organization you are going to create.
Click the gear icon, then Add a Child Organization....
Give the new child organization a name and click Add.
Image RemovedClick the name of the new child organization, click the gear icon, then Edit....
Image RemovedClick the Security tab, then uncheck the box for Inherit security settings from parent. Click Save.
Image RemovedClick the gear icon, then Edit..., then the Security tag, and verify that TED is not checked. Uncheck it and click Save if necessary, or click Close if it is already not checked.
Image RemovedClick  Send a request to the Help Desk, asking for a UTBackup admin to set your new organization to be non-LDAP.
Image AddedAfter receiving confirmation that the organization has been set to non-LDAP, click the name of the new child organization, click the gear icon, then Add Users....
The only required fields for a new user are Username, Password, and Confirm Password. Add a First Name, Last Name, and Email Address if desired. Click Add User.
