Naming Conventions
Current (as of 2015)
Austin CAs should confirm to the following naming conventions:
- Austin <function> <year> (<type>)
- The function should be set to Root, External, Disk, Intermediate or Issuing
- The type should be set to qual or test as appropriate (ex. CAs in the CDS domain should be appended with qual or ADTEST)
Previous (prior to 2015)
Austin CAs should confirm to the following naming conventions:
- Austin <function> Certificate Authority (<domain>)
- The function should be set to Root, Intermediate or Issuing
- The domain should be set the NetBIOS name of the domain (ex. AUSTIN, CDS or TEST)
