Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) allows certificates to be issued to users and devices joined to Active Directory. ADCS is primarily utilized by the Austin Active Directory to issue certificates to domain-joined computers for use by endpoint management solutions. ADCS additionally can provide certificates with functionality such as specific EKUs that is not available with certificates issued by InCommon via the Digital Certificates service.
