  • Safety Guidelines: 

    • Recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) such as protective face masks and disposable gloves should be worn at all times while cleaning/sanitizing equipment.  

    • Ensure adequate ventilation prior to beginning any of the procedures. 

    • Hand washing with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds is recommended before and after PPE is worn.

    • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol can be used if soap and water are not available. 

    • All work surfaces should be cleaned and sanitized before beginning and upon completion of each procedure. 

Clean work surface(s) with 75% isopropyl alcohol wipe.

  • Repeat process again in order to sanitize surface(s).
  • Allow surface to air dry. Do not wipe surface(s) to dry.

Remove battery and memory card(s) from camera.

  • Unplug power to camera (if applicable).

Wipe camera with clean 75% isopropyl alcohol wipe.

  • Wipe high touch areas such as grips, eyepiece, LCD screen and attachments.
  • Repeat process again in order to sanitize surface(s).
  • Allow surface to air dry. Do not wipe surface(s) to dry.



Wipe power supply cables and any other high touch items included with camera kit.

  • Batteries
  • Battery charger
  • SD card
  • Attachments
  • Accessories

DO NOT wipe image sensor (behind back of lens cap inside camera body).

Wipe lens grips, caps, lens shade and around lens body.

DO NOT wipe coated lens surfaces on the front and back of the lens.
