II. Kinematics Challenges

The kinematic challenges involved in this project were twofold:

1. To effectively cut a variety of vegetables of different sizes and toughness through mimicking the cutting motion (position, velocity and force) of an experienced chef
2. To incrementally move the vegetable under the knife using the same motor as the cutting mechanism to create consistent slices
