5) Electronics & Software
The electronics included are a 12V brushed motor, an L298N motor driver, an Arduino, an AC to DC power supply, and a voltage regulator. The power supply was connected directly into a standard wall outlet and split into the L298N motor driver and voltage regulator. The voltage regulator powered the Arduino at 5V to provide controls to the driver. Receiving the signal from the Arduino and the 12V power from the power supply, the L298N motor controlled the brushed motor at a specified angular velocity.
