Drawing Arm
For the arm itself, we decided on using 6 inches linkage lengths. With the intent of having the largest amount of travel from full extension to minimum extension, we knew that our original slider crank design would not suffice.
By having links two and three approximately the same size, even with a slider offset, we could achieve a max displacement of at least 10 inches. This would be more than sufficient for use in a drawing arm.
