This page describes the kinds of people we want to try to recruit to work on the Longhorn Sharing Project. 

Programming Languages

• One or more of the following:
  • Python
  • Perl
  • PHP

Databases

• Maria or mySQL

Experiences

• At least a year of experience in development.  
• Knows about or how to development code that works with the web (generate, display, interact)
• Comfortable in development and utilizing the web to find existing solutions (no need to re-invent the wheel), however want to ensure no plagiarism or out-right theft.
• Experience with GitHub (about)

Pluses

• Experience working in a team environment.
  • Formalize ideas
  • Perform research on how to implement ideas (even if it outside of their experience)
  • Present the ideas, collaborate and combine thoughts.
• Experience with a DevOps practice and continuous development method and thinking (mental practice).
• AJAX (or Asynchronous or Event driven programming)
