UTBiome @ Environmental Symposium 2014, Austin

Hi y'all,

I hope the semester is not extremely crazy yet. Thanks to all those who attended the Environmental Symposium at UT this year.  The UTBiome team shared some results from the Waller Creek studies.

We were very excited to see how many folks are working on studies based on Waller Creek, our university creek. Our collaborator Emma Heitmann (undergraduate student ESI) did a terrific job. She worked on her project under the supervision of Eric Hersh and Jay Banner, both professors at UT. I can't wait to cross-analyze our results with theirs. 

The interactive mapping platform is currently being updated with some of those results.
