Adding two left-aligned images in an article

 

  1. Refer to the following News article as an example:
    http://www.ae.utexas.edu/news/1201-nsfgf-2017
  2. Add the text to the editor window.
  3. Insert the first image in the desired location. Follow the instructions for adding caption text.
  4. Place the second image one paragraph after the first image (order: first image, one paragraph of text, second image). Follow the instructions for adding caption text.
  5. Once the second image has been added, highlight the second image and caption text. The Format drop-down field should say "Figure." 
  6. Click on the Styles menu and choose "clear-left."
  7. Preview the article. The images should appear to be stacked on the left side of the article.
  8. Save your changes.
