AVID - Effects Nesting
Nesting - to have multiple effects on a clip, or having an effect within an effect on the same clip | |
To add an effect to a clip, first click Tools > Effect Palette | |
It should pull up the Effect Palette that looks like this | |
Drag the desired effect onto the clip To check if the effect is applied on the clip, go to Tools > Effect Editor and click on the clip This should call up all effects applied on the clip | |
To add an additional effect, drag an effect onto the same clip from the Effect Palette while holding down the Alt/Option key You can see that a second effect has been added to the same clip in the Effect Editor |
