AVID-How to Enable Administrator Permissions in Windows 10

Right click on the AVID Media Composer icon and choose "Troubleshoot compatibility"

Choose "Troubleshoot Program"
Click the Checkbox for "The Program Requires Additional Permissions," then click "Next"
Click on the box "Test the Program"
On the Menu bar, click on the flashing icon of the Shield.

Click on the "Yes" button to allow this app to make changes to your device.
After a few seconds, Media Composer will begin to launch properly. Back the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter dialog box, click on "Yes, save these settings for this program."
The Program Compatibility Troubleshooter dialog box will save the settings and Media Composer will continue to launch.
