Email delivery of voicemail
- Log in to http://voicemail.its.utexas.edu/
- Go to "Notifications."
- Set up notifications.
- Send to one or more email addresses.
- SMS gateways to receive text notification: https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17056/~/list-of-mobile-carrier-gateway-addresses
- Activate notification.
Transferring a call
Minimum hassle transfer:
Before transferring tell the caller the phone number you are transferring them to in case forwarding drops the callor there is no answer.
- Press the button under the "TRNSFR" display. The caller will be put on hold (music plays) while you select your options.
- Click "Blind."
- Dial the 5-digit extension number.
- Hang up.
To announce the call to the person you are transferring to:

- Press the button under the "TRNSFR" display. The caller will be put on hold with music while you select your options.
- The line will ring.
- Click the button under the "Normal" display.
- Wait for an answer to announce the call, click TRNSF again to disconnect (? not tested 2/6/2018 )
- If there is no answer or voice mail picks up, return to the caller by clicking ??????
Changing your outgoing voice mail
Call Forwarding
To enable always-on call forwarding:
- Dial 72 and the 5-digit on-campus number
To disable call forwarding:
- Dial 73
- Listen for an alert tone
- Hang up
