Tipping Guidelines: The general guideline for food and service is no more than 20% of the pretax amount.

Dining Reservations: 

The Carillon: The Carillon (on-campus) is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a break between breakfast and lunch; lunch seating starts at 11:30am. Email Michiko Matsuura at michiko.matsuura@attconf.utexas.edu – include the date and time, name of the MGO and number of guests. Request a private room for high profile individuals and groups larger than five. They will send you an email confirmation.

• Reconciliation: We submit OOEFs and receipts for expenses at the Carillon to Finance Team, however, it is not for personal reimbursement. Each MGO has an account there and does not pay for meals with their personal credit card.

UT Club: (on-campus). Call (512) 477-5800 to make a reservation. Stacy Waters is the only Dell Med development member with an account. We are allowed to make reservations in her name without her being present 3x per year. Stacy's tax-exempt member number is 3017W. Specify that any charges should be made to the tax-exempt account. If you need to make reservations under Dean Johnston’s name, his member number is J0298. Get clearance from Billy Davis and/or Charlotte Harris beforehand.

• Reimbursement: We receive monthly statements from UT Club. You must review and confirm that all expenses for account 3017W were business related expenses. Email Carmen Chappel (carmen.chappel@clubcorp.com) and Lorie Kuhl (lorie.kuhl@clubcorp.com) if you have questions or need to transfer any items between 3017W (tax-exempt) and W3017 (taxed). It is helpful to request an itemized balance forward for both accounts.
