Change Display Settings
If you need to rotate your or change the resolution of your screen, follow these instructions.
Windows 10
1. Right click on the desktop and then click on “Display Settings”.
2. To figure out which display you want to rotate or adjust, click on “Identify”. You do not need to do this if you only have one display.
To change the orientation, select your choice from the Orientation drop down menu.
3. To change the resolution, select your choice from the Orientation drop down menu.
Windows 8.1 or Older
- Right click on the desktop and then click on “Screen resolution”.
- To figure out which display you want to rotate or adjust, click on “Identify”.
- Select the monitor you want to adjust. You will know it is selected if you see a blue colored frame. Once it is selected, click on the option you want to adjust. In this example, the orientation drop down menu is selected.
- Once you’ve made your selection and the preview appears the way you want it to look. Click on “Apply” to make the change or click “OK” to save the change and close this window.
