An Introduction to Box
12/05/2016
What is the difference between Box and Box Sync?
Box is normally in reference to the Box.com website.
Box Sync is a program installed on a desktop or laptop the automatically uploads and downloads the files and folder you have marked for "sync".
When should I use one versus the other?
Use Box Sync on your desktop(s) and/or laptop(s) to make it more convenient to access and edit your files stored on Box. Use the website to upload files or folders you do not want to be automatically synced to your devices. The website would also be usefully for working on or viewing your files when you do not have access to a computer with Box sync installed.
