Ordering by Proxy
Can my friend or family member pick up my transcript for me?
Yes. You may authorize a third party to order or pick up your official transcript. The proxy request .pdf form is available on our website.
If unable to print .pdf proxy authorization form, please follow these instructions:
- A letter addressed to the UT-Austin that includes all of the following information.
- The date of the request
- The full name under which student is enrolled
- Student current name, if different from above
- Student UTEID, if known
- Student signature (digital not accepted) and a phone number or email address
- Student dates of attendance
- The full name of the person (proxy) authorized to complete the transaction
- The total number of transcripts requested; number of transcripts to be placed in sealed envelopes
- Instructions on what to do with the transcripts once the order is processed
- A state-issued photo ID or passport that identifies the proxy as the person named in the letter of authorization
- A payment of $10 per transcript, payable by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover
Letters of authorization should be faxed or emailed in advance to (512) 475-7681 or transcripts@austin.utexas.edu.
Student signatures will be verified before release of transcript. All financial bars must be paid before release.
