Problems with Certain LDAP Records

UTBackup queries TED for user's primary affiliation in order to allow account creation. Currently only Staff and Faculty are allowed.

Student status overrides Staff or Faculty affiliation and this could cause the account creation to fail.

Creating a manual account with LDAP authentication turned off is the current workaround.

Create a child org of the main departmental org and turn off LDAP authentication.

Once the child org is created, select "Edit Organization" from the left hand settings column on the console and uncheck "Use server settings for LDAP authentication" then click "Save".

Then select "add user" and manually create UTBackup accounts for users unable to authenticate via LDAP.
