Always print from photoshop or adobe reader
In photoshop
- open your image in photoshop
- Go to file > print
- open the canon driver by pressing the “
Print Setting
s” button byCopies
. Make surePrinter Manages Color
s is checked - then do the below:
- Under "Commonly Used Profiles", click on the "Standard" profile. You can also use the "riso master" profile.
- Make sure "Duplex" is NOT selected.
- Select "Grayscale"
- Under "Media Type", select "Plain Paper" (it doesn't matter what kind of paper you're actually printing on, select "Plain Paper" regardless)
- Under Paper size, check 11 x 17
- Under "Print Quality", select "High" ("Standard" might work as well)
Then you should be good to go!
in Adobe Reader
- open your image in Adobe Reader
- Go to file > print
- In this first screen, make sure
Print in Grayscale
is checked. Make sure "Print on both sides" is UNchecked.
Then open the canon driver by pressing the “Properties
” at the top. - then do the below:
- Under "Commonly Used Profiles", click on the "Standard" profile. You can also use the "riso master" profile.
- Make sure "Duplex" is NOT selected.
- Select "Grayscale"
- Under "Media Type", select "Plain Paper" (it doesn't matter what kind of paper you're actually printing on, select "Plain Paper" regardless)
- Under Paper size, check 11 x 17
- Under "Print Quality", select "High" ("Standard" might work as well)
Then you should be good to go!
