Canon Pixima TS9520 (Riso)

printing with PGBK ink

Always print from photoshop or adobe reader

In photoshop

  1. open your image in photoshop 
  2. Go to file > print
  3. open the canon driver by pressing the “Print Settings” button by Copies. Make sure Printer Manages Colors is checked
  4. then do the below:


  • Under "Commonly Used Profiles", click on the "Standard" profile. You can also use the "riso master" profile.
  • Make sure "Duplex" is NOT selected.
  • Select "Grayscale"
  • Under "Media Type", select "Plain Paper" (it doesn't matter what kind of paper you're actually printing on, select "Plain Paper" regardless)
  • Under Paper size, check 11 x 17
  • Under "Print Quality", select "High"  ("Standard" might  work as well)

Then you should be good to go!


in Adobe Reader

  1. open your image in Adobe Reader
  2. Go to file > print
  3. In this first screen, make sure Print in Grayscale is checked. Make sure "Print on both sides" is UNchecked.
    Then open the canon driver by pressing the “Properties” at the top. 
    1. then do the below:


    • Under "Commonly Used Profiles", click on the "Standard" profile. You can also use the "riso master" profile.
    • Make sure "Duplex" is NOT selected.
    • Select "Grayscale"
    • Under "Media Type", select "Plain Paper" (it doesn't matter what kind of paper you're actually printing on, select "Plain Paper" regardless)
    • Under Paper size, check 11 x 17
    • Under "Print Quality", select "High" ("Standard" might  work as well)

    Then you should be good to go!
