Creating a new NREXAM Table

Log in to NREXAM and enter TAB in the Command and enter the previous like semester in the YYS:
For example if we were going to create a new table for Spring 2015 we would enter the information like this:

(NOTE for summer is set up differently you will have to create a table for each session individually. F for first, N for nine-weeks and S for second/whole sessions. All the steps below should be repeated on each session's table)
Once in the previous like semesters table you will hit the PF2 button to copy:

Next this screen will appear. Enter the YYS for old and new semester:

!!!!!!!!({*}{+}NOTE:+* You will be automatically brought back to the original YYS. You *+MUST+* change the YYS to the new YYS before proceeding)!!!!!!
Once in the new YYS you will need to delete all of the dates in the grade column:

Hit PF3 to get to other exam periods to remove ALL grade dates:

NOTE: Grade due times of 10:00am must be added manually as they are not populated in NREXAM.
Send Grade Due Date Table to Records for Verification of Proper Dates and Times

  • Using the Snipping tool, take snips of the grade due date table, and paste them into an email. Don't forget to push F3, and take a second snip to include the bottom 4+ exam periods!
  • Send the email from scheduling@austin.utexas.edu to the grades team. Correct any errors in the table when they reply if there are any, and send the correct tables to them for a second check.
    • Below is an email template and example from summer:

Here's a copy of the grade due date table as set up in *NREXAM, TAB command. Please confirm that the grade due dates below for summer 2016 are correct via email.  If corrections are needed, please let us know and we will make corrections to the table in *NREXAM.
Note that in summer sessions there are three tables, one each for first-term, nine-weeks, second-term/whole session courses:

Once we receive email confirmation that the dates are correct we need to save that email in the corresponding Registrar\Final Exams\Exam Schedules\YYS folder.

Now that all the final exam periods, uniform exam periods, and grade due dates have been determined, it's time to add it to our website for students and staff to utilize.
The table below is an example of the table that will need to be changed. Using the sortable exam table made for the semester you're working on, change all the final exam periods in DRUPAL. Go slow, double and triple check that everything matches the sortable table. Have the team double check everything before the draft is approved and goes live.
