Using the NNL Video Presentation System - Skyra
It is very important to complete these steps in order. Failure to do so will prevent the video system from correctly detecting the video signal, and all you will get is a blank screen. If that happens, turn off the screen, wait 30 seconds, and start over from step 1 below.
- Open your laptop and plug in your preferred interface cable from one of the three available (HDMI, mini-DP, and DVI), and select the proper resolution on the video switch: select 4k, 1080p, or 720 (if you're using 1024x768) as appropriate.
- Make sure the power indicator light on the video switch is lit. If not, turn on the power. You should use the power switch labeled "3" in the diagram on the right, and labeled in the photo also on the right. The main power switch, labeled "6" in the diagram on the right should always be on. There is no need to turn that off. But if the green light doesn't turn on when you use the power switch, check to make sure this is on.
- Make sure the green light on the back of the screen is lit (on the box where the cable plugs in to the back of the screen), indicating that the power is on.
- Select the input you are working with (Input 1: HDMI, Input 2: mini-DP, input 3: DVI)
- Send video from your laptop.
- Make sure that the video switch correctly identifies the resolution you are sending from your laptop. (Stop here unless you need audio with your video)
- Â When finished, please be sure to turn off the screen power from step #2 above.
