Do not attempt to change any settings on the display, cabling configurations, or placement of hardware. Each of them has a single, specific set of working parameters, and changing one could prevent all the others from working properly.

Step-By-Step Setup Instructions
Note: It is very important to complete these steps in order. Failure to do so will prevent the video system from correctly detecting the video signal, and all you will get is a blank screen.
- Open your laptop and plug in your preferred interface cable from one of the three available (HDMI, mini-DP, and DVI).
- Make sure the power indicator light on the video switch is lit. If not, turn on the power.
- Select the input you are working with (Input 1: HDMI, Input 2: mini-DP, input 3: DVI)
- Turn on the video screen, and make sure the green light on the back of the screen is lit.
- Send video from your laptop.
- Make sure that the video switch correctly identifies the resolution you are sending from your laptop. (Stop here unless you need audio with your video)
- If audio is needed, plug the 1/8" audio interface cable into the headphone jack on your laptop, and set the volume on your laptop to 50% of it's maximum setting.
- Dial in your predetermined mixer settings. (Start with both the laptop input channel and headphone output channel at 5, and tweak from there.)
- When finished, please be sure to turn off the screen power from step #2 above.
