K band Connection is Dead
We have experienced an error when the K band detector connection is lost due to either a software crash on the DCCK or the failure of the USB cable.
The DTP read:
"K band connection is dead."
On the DCCK the IDL window is usually frozen and just a white box is displayed.
The HAL server is non-responsive.
The current solution is:
1) Shut down the DCCK.
2) Unplug and replug the the K detector USB and power
3) Restart the DCCK.
4) Restart the ICC to establish the correct socket connections.
5) Follow detector startup procedures for the K band and software startup.
After this the system worked correctly again.
