High Level Dependency - Fergo/Body/Structures/blahblahblah

In Order of Completion

  1. Start designing & validating the frame

    1. Requires:

      1. Deciding on a 3 vs 4 wheel car

      2. Aeroshell dimensions (how wide is the car, how much gap between shell and frame, etc etc)

      3. Suspension dimensions/locations (where are they mounting, hardpoint spacing, etc etc)

      4. Battery Box mounting location & size

      5. Rough Driver dimensions/occupant cell size

      6. Decision on hybrid frame (tubes and sandwich panels) or just tubes

    2. Leads to:

      1. Start designing the frame welding jig

      2. Other subsystems like ergo, cooling, etc. to be able to start designing around the frame design

  2. Start all Ergo projects/parts (concurrent with/closely behind frame design & validation)

    1. Requires:

      1. Driver model (seat, harness, pedal box, etc.)

      2. Occupant cell design and dimensions (ballast box, seat, belly pan, etc.)

      3. Steering system location and dimensions (steering wheel)

      4. Wheel locations (running/planning brake lines for pedal box and E-brake)

    2. Leads to:

      1. Start designing the frame welding jig (if a jig needs to be made for welding to frame)

      2. Welding the frame (if parts need to be welded in general)

      3. Integration (for smaller/straightforward parts, we can go straight from production to integration)

  3. Start designing the frame welding jig

    1. Requires:

      1. General frame prototype/design to go off

      2. ALL (and I mean legit every single damn one) mounting tab locations that need to be welded BY every system

    2. Leads to:

      1. Ordering the frame

  4. Ordering the frame

    1. Requires:

      1. Frame being fully validated and cleared by ASC

      2. Frame CAD assembly integrates well and without interference with other systems

    2. Leads to:

      1. Welding the frame

  5. Welding the frame

    1. Requires:

      1. All frame tubes and mounting tabs received

      2. All personnel that will be welding the frame to be properly trained and have a good amount of practice hours welding beforehand

    2. Leads to:

      1. Integration

  6. Integration (hell)

    1. Requires:

      1. Frame fully welded, including ALL mounting tabs

      2. Ergo parts are fully made and ready to mount/attach

    2. Leads to:

      1. Happiness

      2. Freedom

      3. Pure Bliss even

      4. Car work
