| Josh Continued working on occupant cell reference sketch, began porting over files to 24-26 bild Maylin - Made a basic frame w/ no tubes. Need to add dimensions and more references. Alyssa - Grace - Finished a frame reference sketch Abigail - Learning and experimenting on creating a frame, looking at different roll cage types. Devansh - |
10/19 |
| Josh - Discussed with suspension approaches to mounting for front and rear, drew up concepts for rear design for trailing arm and continued work on configurable frame assembly. Maylin - Created list of parameters for the frame Alyssa - Grace - Abigail - Learning about suspension and the shape of the frame in regards to that, and continued to research the roll cage. Devansh - Discussed multilevel frame architecture with suspension system. Began research into multilevel frame architecture. Began critiquing old frame design. |
10/26 |
| Josh - Leanred more intuitive frame design and solids fundamentals from Noah lecture Met with dynamics to discuss reference sketching approach and continued progress on Body ref sketch Maylin - Alyssa - Grace - Abigail - Devansh - Learned intuitive frame design using statics principles from Noah. Spoke w/suspension about what bell cranks are and why a hexagonal front-frame would be better than rectangular. Began preliminary front-frame sketches that reference current hardpoints. |
