Recliner Rocker Analysis
When the recliner starts to extend the leg rest, there is a notch designed to lock the four bars of the rocker mechanism together in place. However, when the leg rest is closed and the bar is freed, then the whole chair can rock on the 4 bar mechanism.
A local 4 bar analysis was conducted with a potential range for the key kinematic analysis submission. Then, a full global analysis was conducted and plotted to illustrate the change in angle of the chair feet on the floor in relation to the grounded seat base.

For this local example: RB2 angle range= 0:90 deg, RB3 angle range= 346.1 : 5.7 deg, RB3 range of motion= 19.6 degrees

For global: RB3 angle range= 348 : 7.9 deg, RB3 range of motion= 19.9 degrees
