Team 7 - Introduction and Background

The inspirations behind our project were the nerf guns we used to play with as children. Our goal was to make a mechanism that could load a small ball and launch it out of a barrel as a projectile. Our process went through several alterations whilst working on it. While the main mechanism design remained the same throughout, its functionality was adjusted to be more realistic with the tools and materials we had available. Ultimately, we were able to create a machine that successfully launched small foam balls at an acceptable speed.
