Pick up Counts - Detailed
In Desk Tracker, select Reports tab and choose the following:
- Click on Data File Generator
- Click [Show Options]
- Select Flat Format (.CSV)
- Check the box for Split date and time into separate columns
- Filter: Location - APL - .Arch Pick up Counts
- Filter: Date Range - Select the correct dates, for example: 2013-10-01 to 2013-10-31
Click on Build Report button
The report will be downloaded as a .csv file that can be opened in Excel

In Excel, open the .csv file that was generated in Desk Tracker:
- Save the file:
- use the .xlsx format
- format name: pickupcounts201310 - replace with correct year and month
- save it to the admin server: Work-Groups/Architecture/Statistics/stats_fy1213/pick up counts
- Delete the following columns:
response_set_id
parent_response_set_id
- page
- user
- branch
- desk
- library
- date
- time
- Pick up Count
- Your Initial
- On the Data tab, select Pivot Table
- On Pivot Table Builder, do the following:
- Select all Field names
- drag date to Column Labels
- drag time and Your Initials to Row Labels
- drag Sum of Pick up Count to Values
- Change the Layout to Tabular Layout
- Go back to Data tab
- In the Group & Outline section:
- Group by Hours
- Use Show Detail and Hide Detail to show and hide the initials per hour
