Step 1: Reboot your computer

If you did not receive this popup then move on to the MAB section
Mac (Apple) 802.1X
- Enter in your EID/Password and leave the "Remember this information" checked. Leave the "No certificate selected" drop down.
- Select "Continue" on the verify certificate screen.
- Enter your computer login password.
- You should now be connected!
MAC Address Bypass (MAB)
Important
This section only applies if the steps in 802.1X didn't work.
- Open up any browser and navigate to "https://network.utexas.edu". IMPORTANT- Do not use Google Chrome to perform these steps.
- You will be redirected to a utdirect login page, please login.
Enter in a description for the computer, we recommend UT tag-EID though this convention is not required. Please note this name is only to identify the computer when you log in to https://network.utexas.edu to check your registered devices and see your bandwidth allocation, it will not rename your computer.
- You will be directed to this page and will be connected shortly.
- You should now be connected!
