- Mix these ingredients in 800mL of water, pH to 7.3; fill to 950mL and autoclave.

2. Prepare and sterilize these solutions separately (N.B. filter sterilizing seems to yield better growth)

3. Add 50 mL glucose and 1 mL each of items 2-5 to the solution prepared in step 1 while stirring.
