Build Lab Policies

Note: Only students, faculty and staff of the School of Architecture can access or use the Build Lab. Safety and Equipment Training is also required, which you can learn more about here.

The SoA's Build Lab operates under several different jurisdictional authorities, including UT System's Rules and Regulations, UT Austin's Handbook of Operating Policies, the School of Architecture, and UT Austin's Environmental Health and Safety Department's guidelines for both laboratories and machine shops. Links are provided for the first two and will not be repeated here, though everyone is responsible for reading and heeding their relevant sections.
