Firewall Configuration
To ensure trouble-free connectivity between the UTBackup service and your devices, please make sure that any firewalls on the client are configured to allow incoming and outgoing traffic on port 4282 to cpmaster.its.utexas.edu (146.6.62.40). If this connection is blocked or misconfigured, devices will fail to backup their files to the server and push restores may fail.
Hardware firewalls on the network will also have to be reconfigured accordingly. Please reference any vendor-supplied documentation for such devices.
