Paste Adhesive for Composite Frame
Paste adhesive are generally used for bonding together, and has good structural properties but is also viscous enough to be able to fill gaps and strengthen loose joints. According to sources online, it seems to be pretty good for bonding core to face sheets however the composite handbook says they are generally only used for filling areas of core to stiffen/strengthen and bonding inserts etc.
Handbook also noted that controlling the bond line thickness of paste epoxy is hard and you need to have a method to control it, so this is something we will have to take in mind while working on application
