On sound card, Set the first knob all the way to the right

Ask patient to produce a comfortable /a/

• Check gain to flashing green line -12 to -24 We are not doing this currently!!
  • In consultation with Rosemary Lester Smith, we decided as long as it does not appear red, it is not saturated

• If patient's comfortable /a/ is close to the upper range, lower the gain

3.2

Ask patient to say a louder /a/ to make sure it's still within range.
