4. Measuring Position and Angle
From the unit circles placed on the crank angle and at the meeting point between the arms and body, I recorded the angle of each arm of the penguin every ten degrees the crank moved around the axel. The height of the penguin was also recorded using a ruler, stating the zero point as the penguin body being lowered all the way to the height of the "iceberg" base. As the penguin moved up, the distance was measured from the top of the iceberg to the flat bottom of the penguin's body. The results are shown in the table and figures below:
