Introduction to Project - Dynamic Lion

The project Dynamic Lion was designed to create a fun mechanism that has an input and output. Dynamic Lion was created with cardboard, straws for input and output, rings to provide extra weight on the disk plate, and a cute Lion doll. Most pieces were glued together to provide stability. It has a two-disk cam mechanism with another disk plate placed on the cam disks. The input of this mechanism is the cam disks which provides two output, linear and rotary motions. As the cam disks rotate as an input from the user, the disk plate on the cam moves up and down and rotates sideways. The Lion is attached to the disk plate, which shows a dynamic motion of moving up/down and turning sideways.
