Creating / Updating Awards & Honors for Faculty

  1. In articles, search by the "Awards and Honors" category for the faculty member who needs an award added.

  2. If no article exists, create a new article

    1. The article title will be formatted “Last name, First name” and have a category of “Awards and Honors.”

    2. The alias should be formatted "last name-first initial" (ex. for George Washington the alias would be washington-g)
  3. Open the article and confirm the cursor is placed at the beginning of the text for the first bullet item.

  4. Hit return to create a bullet above and enter the name of the award and year.

  5. Highlight the award text and link to article.
