Creating new faculty directory entries

  1. Add faculty information to the Faculty Directory component
    1. Components → Faculty Directory → NEW
    2. Fill out all fields
    3. Save
      1. Reference Updating Faculty Bios entry for more details
  2. Create article for faculty
    1. Title should be faculty name
    2. Alias should be lastname-firstinitial (ex. harris-k)
    3. Category should be Faculty Directory
    4. Add details to main content area
    5. Save
  3. Create menu item for faculty
    1. Title should be faculty name
    2. Alias should be lastname
    3. Category should be Faculty→ Faculty Directory (be careful as there are two categories with the same name)
    4. Menu Item Type should be Faculty Bios → Faculty details
    5. Under the Required Settings tab choose the faculty name
    6. Under the Link Type tab, Display in Menu should be set to No
    7. Under the Page Display tab, set Show Page Heading to No
    8. Save
