At TACC

First off, setup your .profile as documented here.

Second, add newgrp - G-803889 to your .profile, or at least run that command, before mucking with BioITeam resources so that whatever you do leaves the files marked as belonging to the BioITeam.

If you add a directory under $BI, please make sure permissions and group settings are correct:

chmod -R g+rw myNewDirectory
chgrp -R G: myNewDirectory
