About TACC
TACC has roughly 115 staff, including about 35 PhD level researchers with a wide range of scientific disciplines relating to computation. TACC is research center within UT Austin and also a national service provider for the National Science Foundation's XSEDE program. TACC’s mission is to enable discoveries that advance science and society through the application of advanced computing technologies. As an enabling organization, we actively seek out opportunities and partnerships, and most of our research projects have a collaborative component with outside groups.
