MATLAB - Changing License

Be sure the system is enabled to view all Filename and Extensions

 

Next, the existing license file will need to be renamed.

Locate the MATLAB installation under Applications, right-click on MATLAB and select Show Package Contents

When the package contents have been expanded, navigate inside the licenses folder

The existing file license.lic will need to be renamed (ie. license.lic.old)

 

Once this is complete, relaunch MATLAB and you will be prompted to activate MATLAB.

Choose to activate online via your Mathworks account

If you have a choice of licenses - highlight 87532 Total Academic Headcounts Campus - TAH Designated Computer

Upon successful activation, MATLAB will now operate without the need for a network connection.
