Configuring the UT VPN for the Yeager Server

Only authorized users are allowed to access the project server.  If you have any questions about your access, please contact the project manager.

Please make sure you have met the perquisites for Setting Up Remote Access and the UT VPN Client is installed.

Please make sure you have configured the Windows App and have been added to the server. If you are a new user, please submit a ticket to help@prc.utexas.edu to be added to the group server. 

VPN Group and Project Server Information

• UT VPN Group: vpn-yeager

• UT VPN Username: EID

• UT VPN Password: EID Password

• Project Server Address - pprc-yeager-p03.austin.utexas.edu.

• Project Server Username - located at https://stache.utexas.edu

• Project Server Password - located at https://stache.utexas.edu

Configuring the VPN:

1. Locate the VPN Client (Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client) icon and connect to the UT VPN.

2. When VPN starts for the first time, it will ask for the VPN server name—type in vpn.utexas.edu/vpn-yeager. Click Connect.

3. Type in your EID credentials in the UTexas portal.

   1. UT EID: YourEID

   2. Password: Enter your EID password.

Open

4. Duo Passcode: Type the verification code on your device to approve the connection.

5. The VPN will connect successfully.
