The driver model for the 2024-2026 season is configurable using potential drivers' data and anthropometry data.
Data Collection
The potential driver range was collected from the driver poll sent out at the beginning of the semester to extract the 25th to 75th percentile heights of drivers under 180 pounds. We measured and collected drivers' data within the range through the ergo jig to refine the bounding box and driver model. Uncertain measurements that do not affect the bounding box have been taken from the anthropometry data.

How to use the configurable driver model
The newest driver model has added configurability which allows the user to choose between various premade driver sizes. Each driver configuration has different body part lengths to select from. This is used to visually see how different drivers will fit into the solar car.
How to switch between driver configurations:
Open the Driver Model Assembly
Navigate to the ConfigurationManager tab
You should now see different configuration options to choose from. Double click on a configuration to select it, and the driver model will switch to the configuration you selected.
