Dynamics
Pack all bolts, washers, cotter pins, spare parts, tooling, etc for comp
Ensure we have enough argon for comp (check welding materials)
Test all tools we are bringing to comp
Prepare backup of parts and tooling we would like to bring
Inventory all bolts, tools, spares and all things we want to bring to comp
Safety wire critical fasteners like the wheels and anything safety wired on old car
Check to see if we are passing all the dynamic tests
Do driving testing to look for any problems
Bleed the brakes
Mount brake lines (Handbrake)
Tune the shocks to the right stiffness (25% sag following fox instructions)
Test assembled steering mounted to frame, Looking for proper travel for wheels (check to make sure wheels are turning to the right angle), make sure there aren’t any interferences with the dash or wiring.
Test fit to car and find any interferences with the wheel well cutouts, wheel cutouts, bulkheads, cooling ducts, and wire harnessing
Test fit dynamics to itself, look for interferences. Ensure its traveling the correct distance
Mount new wheels to rims
Aeroshell
Find all extra products to make repairs like waterproofing issues, things falling off, etc
Prepare extra scrap epoxy and carbon fiber for patching in case we have any issues
Sticker the important parts of the car per regs (high voltage, estop, pull latch)
Vinyl wrap the car
Cut hole for estop and mount it to car
Towing point (make sure we have one that is accessible
Lanyard mount to topshell
