Send From
If you use Outlook and have permission to send from an email address other than the address of the account you are accessing, you will need to add the From line to your new messages to be able to send from another address.
Outlook 2003
If you are using Word as your email editor:
- Start a new email message.
- Find the Options button on the toolbar and click the drop-down arrow next to it.
- Select From.
- In the From line, type the email address, the name of your mailbox, or click the From button to find it in the Global Address List.
If you are not using Word as your email editor:
- Start a new email message.
- From the View menu, select From Field.
- In the From line, type the name of your mailbox, or click the From button to find it in the Global Address List.
Outlook 2007
- Start a new email message.
- Move to the Options tab.
- Click Show From.
- In the From line, type the email address, the name of your mailbox, or click the From button to find it in the Global Address List.
Sent Items
When you send from another address, the message will still show up in your Sent Items folder (or the Sent Items folder of the main account in your current Outlook profile). If you have a second mailbox open in your Outlook profile, you can drag a sent message from your Sent Items folder to the Sent Items folder of the secondary mailbox.
