Faculty welcome

Thank you for considering or joining PLUS with your undergraduate course.

PLUS is data-driven and based on respectful collaboration between the content expert (you), the mentor (your senior preceptor, SP), and learners (your study group leaders and attendees).  Your SP will handle all administration and communication with those facilitating the study groups, but we do rely on your guidance and input on weekly agendas the SP will create to be individualized to your pacing, style, and emphasis of material.

Here's what we expect from supported faculty:

* participation in weekly planning meetings and early agenda development (may include sample practice self-quizzing problems)

* allowing (encouraging!) in-class announcements or reminders about study groups, including a short recruiting announcement on the first class day and the weeks study groups start (usually the 3rd or 4th week of the semester)

* timely communication with and respect for your senior preceptor

*feedback on how PLUS can improve
